3D PRINTING

OFI can make 3D prints of your subsea equipment or fields for you, your investors and your clients.  Most people never get to actually see subsea equipment because it is fabricated and then set in place deep below the water surface. 

With our knowledgeable artist and database, the 3D printer creates scale models that replicate the subsea equipment with amazing precision and accuracy.  There’s no better way to explain how oil and gas are produced from deep water fields than to be able to show scale replicas of the trees, pipeline end termination assemblies, subsea umbilical termination assemblies, manifolds and jackets.  

3D RENDERING

Renderings are the best means of showing the three-dimensional layout of a subsea field, which may extend dozens of miles from the wells to the host platform.  Satellite images that can now be obtained for onshore fields are not available subsea.  Any level of detail and accuracy are possible, assisting in the explanations of connections for production, control and safety.

OFI has been focused on subsea tiebacks for nearly 20 years.  And with a staff averaging over 20 years in the offshore oil industry with fabricators, installation contractors, engineering firms and operators, we know what it takes to bring production safely and efficiently from the seafloor.  Our drafting group can draw conceptual designs prior to drilling the wells or soon after, based on the client’s expectations and our engineers’ experience.
